Working with RabbitMQ messages


RabbitMQ is Open Source Bases MOM (Message Orientated Middleware) Solution. It implements the Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP). The RabbitMQ server is written in the Erlang programming language and is built on the Open Telecom Platform framework for clustering and failover.

It offers many APIs to communicate with: Web Services, java, JMS...

We are providing here actions that are using Pika utility to manage messages from RabbitMQ queues.

Prerequisites:

- Java

- Pika

  • Sending Message into a queue
  • Waiting for a message
