AIX Package Manager Action Pack

Install, upgrade, remove and query installed packages on your AIX host.


AIX Package Manager is a native package manager that is used on the IBM AIX operating system to install and manage software packages

Available Actions:

  • Cleanup Package
  • Commit Package
  • Install Package
  • Query Package
  • Reject Package
  • Remove Package

Setup

The actions are wrappers around the appropriate packager tool. Depending upon what kind of operating system and packager you use, the following packagers should be installed:

  • AIX systems supporting the installp command
